I just had to add this information to our own (multiple!) stories of animal drama early this week:
This morning, Casey checked in with a farmer who was going to rent us a bull. He was supposed to bring the bull out first thing today, but he told Casey he was going to be late because he had a “long hard night.” Casey asked him, “Did your animals get out?” The guy was floored, because YES his bulls had ALL escaped overnight, and he spent many long hours trying to get them back in. It had never happened to him before.
So. Something is up. Pass quickly please whatever it is!
But now we have a bull here, ready to be introduced to our cows tomorrow. Love is in the air!
