Holiday Harvests!

Market season may be over, but here at Oakhill Organics we’re still harvesting vegetables from our fields. This fall, we have two opportunities for you to purchase Oakhill Organics vegetables, timed to particularly suit your holiday meals. Join us for our:

Holiday Harvests!
Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2 – 4* (the day before Thanksgiving)
Friday, Dec. 19, 2 – 4* (a few days before Christmas)

* Please note that the pick-up times listed above are different than on paper we handed out at market!

How it will work: Choose your vegetables from the following availability list … then call (503-474-7661) to place your order. We’ll take orders for Thanksgiving on Sunday, Nov. 23 & Monday, Nov. 24. Once we have your order, we will custom harvest your chosen vegetables for you and bring them to downtown McMinnville for you to pick up Wednesday, from 2 – 4 pm at the First Baptist Church parking lot on 1st street, between Cowls and Davis.

Thanksgiving’s veggie availability & price list:

We’ll update this availability list again when the Christmas harvest approaches. Call us 503-474-7661 if you have any questions.

And, to reiterate, all veggies purchases need to be pre-ordered on November 23 or 24 for pick-up November 26, 2 -4 pm. Please do not call before November 23.

Hope everyone is having a great fall! We’re looking forward to being a part of your celebratory holiday meals.

What a great opportunity- thanks! I was wondering if you could add ‘shelf life’ to the list- would this be a good time to stock up on onions and garlic, etc? Yes, I could use some for holiday cooking, but I could also stand to put some in the pantry.

      Thanks!

How many people do you think a single stalk of Brussels Sprouts would feed? I am headed to my mom’s for thanks giving, and she wants me to bring some things.
