The YCAP food bank has 250 food boxes to fill next week — these holidays helps are crucial for many Yamhill County families. In order to make the Thanksgiving food boxes complete they still need LOTS of frozen turkeys delivered by Monday! If you can help by buying one or more (ten? twenty?) turkeys, please deliver them to YCAP by Monday. Questions? Contact Tricia Harrop: 503-550-2099. Thank you!

Thanks for letting us in on this opportunity. I talked with Tricia this morning and she said that if someone is interested in getting more than just one or two to call back later in the week when the turkeys start to go on sale. Sometimes YCAP works out a deal with a grocery store to reduce the cost of turkeys.
