Some of our friends—Figment Farm and Summer’s Harvest—hosted an open house this weekend for their new beautiful farmstand on Mineral Springs Road (between Lafayette and Carlton). The stand, built by Jake Rockwood, is itself gorgeous, but the produce was phenomenal. We originally met Leslie, Rebecca and Seth through the Mac market, where they also sell and have an awesome booth of naturally grown fruits and vegetables plus value-added products such as garlic braids and herb wreaths. They grow a range of quality heirloom varieties—all very tasty and artistically presented. We highly recommend their produce, at market or at the farmstand which will open again next spring.
