“Holiday” Harvest #2 is on!

Happy thaw! After a two-week wait, we can finally see the vegetables again in the field. So, we’re going to go ahead and plan for the last “Holiday” Harvest of 2008, even though it will be more limited in scope than the original plan. Here are the details:

Call 503-474-7661 to place your order on Monday, December 29 before 6 p.m.

(The order day has been changed because snow rescheduled some of our holiday events and we will be spending Sunday with Casey’s family and won’t be answering the phone then.)

Pick up your ordered vegetables 1:30 – 3:30 on Tuesday, December 20 at the First Baptist Church parking lot.

(We still need to confirm our use of the parking lot with the church, but we’ll let you know if the location is changed when you call in your order.)

Here is the reduced (but still delicious) list of vegetables available:

  • Yellow cooking onions ~ $2 lb.
  • Cipollini onions ~ $3 lb.
  • Shallots ~ $4 lb.
  • Delicata squash ~ $1 lb.
  • Yukon Gold potatoes ~ $2 lb.
  • Cabbage ~ $1 lb. (price maxes out at $4/cabbage)
  • Brussels sprouts (order by the stalk) ~ $1.50 lb.
  • Carrots (bulk) ~ $2 lb.
  • Beets (bulk) ~ $1 lb.
  • Celery root ~ $2 lb. (maxes out at $4/root)
  • Leeks ~ $2 bunch
  • Popcorn (on the cob) ~ $4 lb.
  • We hope you all had a safe and happy holiday amidst the crazy winter weather. If you have any questions, call us: 503-474-7661.
