The local News-Register ran a great article about our farm in this morning’s business section. We’re excited to see if we get any more responses from it. Either way: the news is out about Oakhill Organics. We’re almost out of brochures, and we originally printed up 250. Every time we visit Harvest Fresh, Red Fox or Third St. Books, we have to put out more. So, at this point, there’s a lot of information about us floating around homes in Mac—I suppose that eventually some of those people will start sending us sign-up forms, but I can understand that it takes time to think through things and get everything sent out.

Hey you two! Really enjoying the blog. Keep up the “geeky farmer” shots. I love sitting and staring at the shots of your tractor setups.I’m one of those “geeky” farmers. There’s just not enough of those “steel in action” shots out there. As far as heating mats go for the greenhouse, we built a frame and put a waterbed mattress with waterbed heater in the frame with wooden slats over top. It’s a 4 x 8 space. And the peppers and eggplant love it. I’ll put some shots up on my blog. Been lagging because oure internet connect is horrible. So pictures are a bear!
If you ever are in a situation of “what should we use or do here?” email and see if we can help. Sounds like you’re going through the same processes we did a few years back. Can’t hurt to ask eh?
Keep up the good work!
hey guys! the article is very good news! and its great. two tractors and flowers and publicity, oh my! guess what! i found a local CSA here! and i’m going to do it, and i’ve told tons of people, some of whom are going to do it. and just think, only last year you told me about it and i had never heard of it. look at all the ripples of good you have created!
that prolly didn’t make sense, but it made sense to me!
